Create your account
Signing up with a work address, confirming it, and what to do when the code does not arrive.
Accounts are created at Create an account. Sign-in runs on our own domain through a managed identity service, so your password is never seen by this application and never reaches our database.
You need a work address
Free-mail addresses are refused at sign-up. A submission is a statement about a company's model, made on that company's behalf, and the address is the only thing tying the two together. If your company uses a domain we do not recognise as a business domain, it will still work: the rule is about known free-mail providers, not about the size of your company.
The steps
- 1Enter your work address and choose a passwordYou will be asked to choose a password. The sign-up page lists its requirements and ticks them off as you type, so you can see what is still missing. Use a password manager; you will not need to type it often.
- 2Confirm your addressA six digit code is emailed to you. Enter it to finish creating the account. The code expires, so use the most recent email if you have asked more than once.
- 3Set up two-factor authenticationThis is required and cannot be skipped. See two-factor authentication for what to have ready.
- 4Create or join an organizationIf a colleague invited you, accepting the invitation puts you in theirs. Otherwise you create one, and it is named after your company. See organizations.
The code did not arrive
Go to Confirm your account, enter the same address and send a new one. That page also accepts a code you already have, so if an old one is sitting in your inbox and has not expired you can use it there.
